  43. If you have any trouble installing or running Genocide, make

  45. your system meets the following minimum system requirements:

  48. - Pentium 90 Mhz or compatible processor(133 Mhz+
  49. recommended)

  51. - 25 MB Free hard disk space(35 MB for Full Version)

  53. - Windows95(tm) Compatible soundcard(recommended)

  59. Genocide Windows95 Edition requires Microsoft DirectX
  60. version 5 or
  61. later. You probably already have DirectX installed on your
  62. system,
  63. but if you find that Genocide does not run successfully on
  64. your
  65. computer, you may want to obtain and install DirectX.

  67. You can download DirectX Version 5 or later directly from
  68. Microsoft at www.microsoft.com.

  70. The latest version of DirectX is also included on the CD-ROM
  71. of the full version of Genocide.

  79. You may uninstall Genocide by double-clicking the Add/Remove
  80. programs
  81. dialog from the Windows95 control panel. (Click
  82. Start/Settings/
  83. Control Panel).

  86. DISTRIBUTING DEMO VERSION GENOCIDE

  89. If you obtained the Demo Version of Genocide from the
  90. Internet,
  91. magazine cover disks, friends, etc., you may freely
  92. distribute your
  93. Demo Copy of Genocide, either directly or on the Internet,
  94. as
  95. long as you do not charge any fee for it. You must
  96. distribute the
  97. entire setup file and you may not modify, delete or add any
  98. files.

  129. UPDATING GENOCIDE
  130. =================

  132. You can update Genocide to the latest available version
  133. (Full version only)
  134. by downloading and running the latest available patch/bug
  135. fix from our
  136. website. To update your copy of Genocide, do the following:

  138. - Check the version number of Genocide you are running. To
  139. do this, press
  140.   ESC during the game to display the on-screen menu, then
  141.   select Help/Ordering
  142.   from the available options. The version number of Genocide
  143.   will be displayed.
  144.  
  145. - Check our website if there are any updates available. You
  146. should only install
  147.   patches or updates with a higher version number.
  148.  
  149. - Download the update from our website and run the program
  150. by double-clicking it.
  151.   Follow the on-screen instructions.
